This project started during the final production days of Ara when my good friend Tyler Kupferer tossed up the idea that I could live rent free in his apartment for the summer and together we would produce a story that he thought up and pitched in a five minute flash of brillance. Duck Heart Teslacoil is story about a young duck who is picked on by a bus stop mate. The unconventional ending is due to Tyler's persistence to not give the audience the satisfaction of revenge that is too often demanded. That decision paid off and Duck Heart Teslacoil was chosen to be shown at the Animation Block Party in New York and the Feel Good Film Festival in Hollywood!

Unfortunately, just three weeks into the project, our perfect production team was cut in half when I was unable to stay in West Lafayette for the summer. I lost touch with the project due to the distance, however Tyler remained dedicated to great story telling and a unique animation style that nine months later produced an award winning animated short.
